The Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) on January 19, 2021. held the third in a series of two - month online meetings of representatives of network member agencies dedicated to data management in accreditation agencies.

The data management system was presented by the Accreditation Agency for the Study of Engineering, Informatics, Natural Scineces and Mathematics (ASIIN) from Germany. This agency also presented its context of action and key activities, as well as the Quality Agency for Higher Education of Latvia (AIKA).

Within the accreditation procedure of the University "Bijeljina", in the period from December 21 – December 23, 2020, the Commission of Experts visited the University "Bijeljina". The visit of the Commission of Experts to this higher education institution included interviews with teaching staff, students, University and faculty services as well as other stakeholders. Through interviews, review of documentation and a tour of the physical resources of the University, the Commission gained insight into the level of fulfillment of standards and criteria for accreditation, about which a detailed report will be compiled in the coming period.

The constitutive session and the 25th regular session of the Management Board of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska  were held on January 15, 2021.   The sessions were attended by the Acting members of the Management Board: prof. Dejan Bokonjic, PhD, Prof. Drasko Marinkovic, PhD and Prof. Nevenko Vranjes, PhD from the academic community, Sasa Trivic, representative of economy and practice and Filip Matic, student representative.

The Management Board of the Agency elected prof. Nevenko Vranjes, PhD. for the acting President of the board.

Members of the Management Board of the Agency were informed about the re-registration of the Agency, harmonization of acts of the Agency with the Law on Quality Assurance in Higher Education, list of licensing experts and current developments in the accreditation process of higher education institutions and study programs.

In the period from December 22 – December 23, 2020 the external evaluation of the College of Service Business East Sarajevo-Sokolac and the registered study program Economics and Business was performed. The Commission of Domestic and International Experts for Assessment, Quality review and Accreditation Recommendation spoke with representatives of: higher school management, quality and self-evaluation team, student services, libraries, legal services, accounting, teaching staff and students, alumni associations, labor market , and visited the resources of the higher education institution and gave general recommendations for improving the work in the coming period.

In the next month, the commission of experts will prepare a report on the external evaluation of the higher education institution with a recommendation on the outcome of the external evaluation procedure for the College of Service Business East Sarajevo-Sokolac and the study program Economics and Business.
