The Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska (AHERS) and the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs from Turkey (EPDAD / EPDAD) held on March 5, 2021 the second in a series of meetings within the staff exchange program.
The meeting was held through the Zoom application and was attended by AHERS Director Biljana Vojvodić and EPDAD President Cemil Öztürk and associates.
The history and competencies of the agencies were presented at the meeting, as well as the procedures and mechanisms for accreditation of higher education institutions and study programs.
Both agencies presented accreditation standards that they use as a reference framework for evaluating the level of quality in higher education, and on that occasion it was noticed that the standards are significantly compatible.
During the meeting, a draft memorandum of cooperation between the two agencies was discussed, which enables the continuation of cooperation in different areas.
It was agreed at the meeting that AHERS representatives will be observers during one of the virtual visits to the higher education institution within the accreditation process organized by EPDAD during April.
The staff exchange program between AHERSS and EPDAD is carried out within the exchange program of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education - CEENQA, which has been running since 2018.
