Representatives of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska attended a lecture on June 18th by the Minister for European Integration in the Government of Serbia, Tanja Miščević, at the Administrative Center of the Government of the Republic of Srpska. The lecture focused on the recently commenced so-called "screening phase" within European integration, which precedes the accession negotiations with the European Union.
During the lecture, Miščević presented the experiences of the Republic of Serbia in the EU accession negotiations, as Serbia went through the screening phase a few years ago. Miščević emphasized that the Ministry for European Integration of Serbia remains available to the officials of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the Ministry for European Integration for any support in the future negotiation process of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the European Union.
The lecture was also attended by the Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, who highlighted that the Ministry is working intensively on strengthening the capacities of representatives of the republican administrative bodies through training, and that the assistance from the Ministry for European Integration of Serbia is of great importance.
