The Agency for Higher Education of Republic of Srpska (AHERS) has signed an agreement on cooperation with the Hungarian Accreditation Committee - Magyar Felsőoktatási Akkreditációs Bizottság - MAB.
Two agencies held an online meeting on November 27, 2023 at which the work of both agencies, the framework of action and external and internal quality assurance procedures were presented, and future forms of cooperation in the field of quality assurance in higher education discussed.
The agreement, which defines the joint commitment of the two agencies to the development of a culture of quality in higher education, was signed by the president of MAB, prof. Dr. Valéria Csépe and director of AHERS ass.prof. Biljana Vojvodić, PhD.
The agreement also envisages cooperation in the area of development of standards and criteria in the area of quality assurance in higher education, possible exchange of experts and reviewers, as well as agency staff, and participation in external evaluation procedures.
The Hungarian Accreditation Committee, based in Budapest, is responsible for the accreditation procedures of higher education institutions and study programs in Hungary.
