At the 4th regular session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska held on July 19, 2023 the Work Report with the financial report of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska for the year 2022 was discussed. In accordance with Article 43, paragraph 1 of the Law on Quality Assurance in Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, the Agency has the obligation to submit a work report to the National Assembly no later than June 30 of the current year for the previous year.
The work report with the financial report for 2022 was explained by the director of the Agency, prof. Biljana Vojvodic, PhD. In her presentation, the Director of the Agency referred to the most significant activities of the Agency in the previous reporting period, as well as to the activities of the Agency in the current year.
In addition to regular activities, the Director of the Agency specifically referred to the activities undertaken by the Agency in connection with the findings from the action "Cluster", which was carried out at the beginning of the year by order of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in connection with the illegal issuance of diplomas, and which refer to higher education institutions for which the accreditation procedure is ongoing. The work report with the financial report of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska for the year 2022 was adopted by the votes of the 47 deputies.
