The eighth meeting of the Management Board of the "Education and Employment" project financed by the European Union was held on October 21, 2022 in Jahorina, and gathered representatives of various institutions and institutions from all levels of education with the possibility of online participation.
The Agency was represented by the assistant director for accreditation and international cooperation, Duska Radmanovic, who is also a member of the project's Management Board.
The meeting discussed the progress report of the project for the period from June to October 2022, as well as an overview of the implementation of the conclusions adopted at previous meetings of the Management Board. The Management Board discussed the Draft Concept of Career Orientation in B&H with guidelines for implementation, the Draft Model Rulebook on the Recognition of Non-Formal Education and Informal Learning for the Purpose of Continuing Education, the Guide to the Recognition of Non-Formal Education and Informal Learning - Informative Guidelines for Students, the Draft Training Program "Implementation of Standards occupations/qualifications of teachers in study programs for teaching", Manual for the implementation of standards of occupations/qualifications in study programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Proposal of a model of continuous professional development of teachers.
The meeting also discussed the activities of working groups, as well as the participation of representatives of institutions in the work of 12 working groups that are responsible for the realization of goals within the various components of the project.
The project includes four components related to various aspects of all education systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and includes all competent educational authorities.
The first component of the project "Transition from education to the workplace" aims at strategic career guidance through lifelong education, and the development of a model of cooperation between educational institutions and the labor market, as well as career guidance centers.
The Agency for Higher Education of Republic of Srpska is envisaged as one of the key partners within the second component of the "Higher Education Quality Assurance" project, which aims to develop qualification standards and professional standards, as well as to improve mechanisms for recognizing non-formal and informal education.
The third component of the project "Reform of initial teacher education" should lead to the development of study programs dealing with teacher education, as well as influence the definition of standards for the quality of teacher work.
The fourth component of the project is "Development of human resources in the educational sector".
