Director of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska (AVORS) prof. Biljana Vojvodic, PhD spoke with the director of the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia (NAQA), prof. Anom Sijacki, PhD, about the procedures for accreditation of higher education institutions and study programs, membership in international associations and networks, as well as other key activities of the two agencies.
Vojvodic informed NEAQA representatives about the accreditation procedures of higher education institutions and study programs in the higher education system of Republic of Srpska, particularly referring to the importance of the Law on Quality Assurance in Higher Education Republic of Srpska, which entered into force in July 2020.
Sijaski, speaking about the key activities of NEAQA, pointed out that the agency is preparing for an upcoming supervisory visit by the panel of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), and that, accordingly, numerous procedures and activities of NEAQA have been improved.
During the talk, it was concluded that the two agencies will continue intensive cooperation in the coming period, guided by the agreement on cooperation signed in the previous period.
