The third seminar for representatives of higher education institutions of Republic of Srpska and stakeholders within the project of ranking higher education institutions in Republic of Srpska was held on June 22, 2021, organized by the Agency for Higher Education of Republic of Srpska.
In the introductory part of the seminar, in addition to the director of the Agency and the head of the Expert Team, the representatives of higher education institutions were addressed by prof. Enes Hasic, PhD, Director of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who stressed the importance of ranking higher education institutions and stressed that the ranking, as an additional quality assurance mechanism, should be extended to the Federation of BiH and regionally.
The importance of ranking higher education institutions in Republic of Srpska was discussed at the seminar, and the members of the expert team, prof. Tadeja Jere Jakulin, PhD and prof. Mile Dzelalija, PhD, presented the experiences of Slovenia and Croatia in the field of internal and external evaluation of higher education institutions. Given that the next phase of the project refers to a more detailed definition of the criteria for ranking higher education institutions in Republic of Srpska, in addition to the scientific performance and the third mission, this seminar is an excellent introduction to the activities that follow in this regard.
The seminar, which was held through the Zoom application, was attended by a large number of representatives of higher education institutions.
