In the period from 23rd to 25th October 2024, ENQA's General Assembly was held in St. Julian's, Malta. The event was organized in cooperation with the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA), Malta's competent educational authority for higher education and lifelong learning.
The topic of the General Assembly was "Quality assurance beyond the ESG framework", and there were talks about quality assurance of research, the connection between quality assurance and the social dimension of higher education, revision of ESG , institutional accreditation frameworks and many other topics.
In separate sessions, members and associate members of ENQA had presentations on the topics of inter-agency cooperation (AVORS and HEA), digitization in quality assurance, cross-border cooperation, etc.
In the first session, the representatives of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republika Srpska and the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on two occasions, successfully presented the cooperation and competences of both agencies, as well as the systems of higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina thus giving the representatives of the quality assurance agencies in the European area of higher education the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the competences, work and organization of quality assurance in the higher education of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
