On July 11, 2024, representatives of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republika Srpska (AHERS) attended an international conference in Budapest organized by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (Magyar Felsőoktatási Akkreditációs Bitzottság - MAB) on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of MAB- a. Among others, the president of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) Douglas Blackstock and the president of the European Register of Agencies for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (EQAR) Stefan Lavik (Stéphane Lauwick) presented at the conference.
Hungarian Minister of Culture and Innovation Balázs Hankó also addressed the participants from numerous agencies across Europe. The conference specifically dealt with the topics of doctoral studies in Hungary and European countries, and the role and aspects of quality assurance in relation to learning outcomes and student-centered education. On that occasion, the president of MAB, prof. Valéria Csépe, PhD, and director of AVORS prof. Biljana Vojvodic, PhD, signed a strategic agreement on cooperation between the two agencies in the field of ensuring the quality of study programs.
