Director of the Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska prof. Biljana Vojvodić, PhD, and her associates participated in the 3rd International Scientific Conference "How regional university cooperation can improve business cooperation - ideas, challenges, and expectations."
Vojvodić presented a paper on the topic "Ranking of higher education institutions in the Republic of Srpska - purpose, goals, and challenges". During the presentation, she presented the ranking project that is underway, the principles and purpose of the project, as well as the expert team in charge of implementation.
She stressed that the goal of the ranking is to better inform students and other stakeholders, measurable indicators that will be the basis for developing future strategies in the field of higher education, encouraging higher education institutions to continuously develop and improve quality systems and increase scientific productivity in the context of international visibility and recognition.
Expert advisor for accreditation and international cooperation Tatjana Radaković presented the second paper on the topic "Models of accreditation of study programs - possible directions of development" In her paper, she presented three models of accreditation of study programs, reviews, cluster and individual accreditation of study programs.
Radaković explained that the Agency has so far accredited 55 study programs, while 24 are in the accreditation procedure, all according to the review model, and that two cluster accreditation procedures for study programs are being prepared which are suitable models for institutions with a large number of study programs.
