The initial meeting which started the realization of the project "Education and Employment" financed by the European Union was held on November 18, 2020. year through the Internet platform Zoom (Zoom), and brought together representatives of various institutions from all levels of education.
The project includes four components related to different aspects of all education systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all relevant education authorities.
The first component of the project "Transition from education to work" aims at strategic career guidance through lifelong learning, and the development of models of cooperation between educational institutions and the labor market, as well as career guidance centers.
The Agency for Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska is envisaged as one of the key partners within the second component of the project "Quality Assurance in Higher Education" which aims to develop qualification standards and occupational standards, as well as improve mechanisms for recognizing non-formal and informal education.
The third component of the project "Reform of initial teacher education" should lead to the development of study programs dealing with teacher education, as well as to influence the definition of standards for the quality of teacher work.
The fourth component of the project is "Human Resources Development in the Education Sector".
At the initial meeting, the Agency was represented by the Head of the Department for Quality Assurance and International Cooperation, Duška Radmanović, who is also a member of the Project Steering Committee.
