Head of Department for Quality Assurance and International Cooperation of the Agency, Duska Radmanovic, MSc, participated from 21st to 23rd October in the first series of workshops within the program "Development of leadership skills 2019-2020" in Vienna.
The program is organized by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and consists of three three-day workshops, the first of which was carried out in cooperation with the Austrian Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
Experts from different countries in Europe and the world covered topics such as:
- Development of a quality higher education system,
- Global developments in higher education which present a particular challenge to quality,
- The development of the European Higher Education Area and the challenges of quality assurance,
- University experience in the context of the European Quality Framework.
A significant part of time is also devoted to developing the competencies of participants in the field of leadership, managing the dynamics of work in groups and group projects.
Radmanovic is part of the project preparation team referring the active involvement of students in external quality evaluation.
There are 24 representatives of quality assurance agencies in higher education from 16 European countries participating in the program.
The Higher Education Accreditation Agency of Republic of Srpska has been an associate member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) since April 2018 and prepares for external evaluation for the purpose of full membership in this association.
