On the 3rd August, 2012, Higher Education Accreditation Agency received the application for accreditation from University of Banja Luka. Application for accreditation was sumbitted by vice-chancellor for education and student services, Simo Jokanovic, PhD, to the Agency director, Miroslav Bobrek, PhD, in the premises of the Rectorate of Banja Luka University.
Thus, the second of the two public universities in the Republic of Srpska submitted the application for accreditation. This shows their determination to affirm the results of the intensified quality assurance activities being conducted since 2005, despite the complex organisational structure of public universities.
